Biography
Dr Abbas Al Mutair, RN has specialized expertise in critical care nursing. He completed his Bachelor of Nursing from the University of Southern Queensland, Australia, Master of Nursing and Ph.D in Medicine Nursing and Health sciences from Monash University, Australia. He also studied a Post Graduate Diploma in Critical Care Nursing. He has worked in a number of hospitals in Saudi Arabia and Australia as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Manager; currently he is an Assistant Professor at the Division of Nursing of Al Mana College for Health Sciences, Saudi Arabia. He has a number of journal articles publications in the field of nursing in peer-reviewed journals and has presented at numerous international conferences and scientific meetings in Australia, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and Europe. His research interests include critical care, nursing education and training, family, cultural issues, statistics and medical writing. Dr Abbas is an Editorial Board Member in the Innovational Journal of Nursing and Healthcare and serving a number of highly reputed journals as a reviewer including: Journal of Clinical Nursing, Journal of Infection and Public Health, Journal of Critical Care Nurse, Journal of International Nursing Review and Contemporary Nurse Journal.

His research interests include critical care, nursing education and training, family, cultural issues, statistics and medical writing.
